SHED

Character Design

Industry:  Advertising

City: Montréal

Year:  2024

Studio Colora had the privilege of collaborating with the talented team at SHED to design characters based on real Canadian athletes for IGA's 3D animated short videos, part of their 2024 campaigns.

Our mission was to accurately capture the athletes' physical likenesses and distinctive facial traits, using reference photos provided by the athletes themselves. At the same time, we stayed true to IGA's established character design art direction, while making sure the designs remained grounded and avoided going too far into caricature.

Under SHED's direction, we delivered detailed design elements and clear visual guidelines to streamline the 3D production process. This approach ensured a smooth transition from concept to execution, minimizing ambiguity and facilitating a cohesive final result.
