La Face des Internets is a contest created by Loto-Québec that gives web content creators the opportunity to improve their skills and reach new heights with the guidance of mentors and the support of Loto-Québec. Twelve selected winners will participate in a variety of training sessions, including evening and online classes, workshops, lectures, and hands-on exercises, all geared towards helping them excel as broadcasters. As part of the program, the winners will also join the Loto-Québec broadcast team on Twitch for a year.
Studio Colora was asked to create a graffiti style design that will be spray painted on a container barrel. The barrel will become part of the set of La Face des Internets and will be used as the centrepiece for the hosts when presenting the live show on the platform Twitch.
The challenge was to find the container barrel, create an original design, and spray paint the design on the barrel on a short and tight deadline.
Studio Colora took a unique approach by interlacing two disciplines, Graphic Design and Graffiti Art. Creating an intricate design by juxtaposing gradients, geometrical shapes, stencil patterns and the layering of colors aiming to attract the eyes of the audience and encapsulate the 80s/90s graphic style, with a modern touch.
